Taylor had Pavlik stumbling all over the ring, I've seen a lot of refs call off the fights when fighters were less hurt. Taylor punched himself out, however, and that was that for him.

Kinda off topic: Weeks letting Corrales continue after that second knockdown in Corrales-Castillo 1 was nuts...99% of refs would call that fight off. It's crazy how guys can be so hurt and then come back to win by KO.

Yeah, when refs don't dq them for spitting their mouth pieces out to buy time and air. Pretty ****ing lame in my opinion. In the UK, they would have probably called a halt to it from the first knock-down since they protect their fighters like no other when it comes to punishment.
