How many times has Pavlik been down?

I can only think of 2 times, Taylor and Zuniga.

McKart got credited with a knockdown against him, but it was not really a knockdown. Pavlik slipped after getting punched in the shoulder. The record though says it was a knockdown.

He was also supposedly knocked down early in his career also. I do not know against who though.

When he got knocked down against Taylor I was pretty surprised how fast he was able to get his legs back.

Wasn't Pavlik the one falling all over the ring after Taylor hit him? Or was that Froch or both of them?

He was stumbling around actually. When he got back up he was hurt and Taylor continued throwing big punches.

What impressed me was how he recovered between round 2-3.

Both. Pavlik got dropped in round 2 and Froch got dropped in round 3.

I was pretty sure both men were hurt though and were falling all over the place when hurt. It was ashame that Taylor was such a pathetic finisher, because I believe they recovered mainly because Taylor just doesn't know how to finish fighters when he has them hurt. And as shown in both fights, he let both men come back to win.

If I remember correctly, Taylor had Pavlik hurt to the point he looked like a drunken sailor for the rest of round 2.

Taylor had Pavlik stumbling all over the ring, I've seen a lot of refs call off the fights when fighters were less hurt. Taylor punched himself out, however, and that was that for him.

Kinda off topic: Weeks letting Corrales continue after that second knockdown in Corrales-Castillo 1 was nuts...99% of refs would call that fight off. It's crazy how guys can be so hurt and then come back to win by KO.
