Oh yeah. Where are they now? One is on top and the other is still struggling to get the biggest pay in his life. May never even happen again. Why? He's overrated. He's just a bit above average in my book. Can't do it on his own without Pac.

Both first and second fights were competitive, except that Pac's bar was too high while Marquez only needed to last the distance. Fans wanted an impressive Pac win. Didn't happen, sure. Pac haters gloat for such Marquez tiny accomplishment. Of course, they're haters. Can't do anything about that.

After a certain Jr. Welterweight champ from Manchester destroys a top contender in Malignaggi and goes on to fight the p4p #1 is he still shot?

Disagree, JMM had his hands full with Juan Diaz at 135, he even had his hands full with a shot Casamayor at 135. And, if you look at JMM at 135 you could see his legs were not under him. Just study those fights real good.

But, lets focus on the Diaz fight. Hatton has faster footwork, more power, stronger, and bigger than Diaz. And, JMM at 135 looked like that was his limit him going another weight-class higher would of also diminish some of the skills he had. He would of been slower, he would of not carried his power to the higher weight-class. he would of been a little slower in footspeed. Him having his hands full with Diaz pushed and bullied around then against Hatton he would of been mauled. But, JMM would of had his moments. And, even if JMM would win at 140 he would of not of "KILLED" Hatton.

We have a weight-classes for a reason. Everybody body type is different. Just cuz 1 fighter could move up multiple weight-classes doesn't mean every fighters can. And, anybody who saw JMM at 135 shold know that was his limit that he did not have the legs under him to go up any higher.

great boxer, dont get me wrong. He is pacquiao's greatest dancing partner.

it's sad that marquez's best just isn't enough to beat pac.
Well, in the opposite stance, it's even funnier that Pac's best (which is, according ot many freaks, the best of all time) was also not enough to beat Marquez. It took money and popularity to get a win over him. You know, being that Pac is supposedly so great, why did he have so much trouble against someone who's best wasn't enough? Was it his itchy socks?

its funny what a little editing can do. the person who made the video made it seem like JMM totally dominated Pac in both fights.

Although age means lots to some people, it's more often than not that you actually have to watch the fighter. Casa was anything but shot. He fought brilliantly that night. Much better than he had in years actually. Not as elusive as he had been five years before but he also fought more in that fight. He was not close shot. A shot fighter is someone whose legs can't physically hold him up, who sees openings but can't even pull his shots, whose punch resistance has gone, who can't go more than afew rounds without tiring and who simply doesn't have the determination to win fights anymore. That was anything but Casa that night.

God, I' tired of this overuse of the words 'weight drained', 'shot', 'past it' etc. You can tell when someone is past it or shot or weight drained. If they can't go twelve hard rounds, if they get hurt easily, if they can't pull the trigger, if their legs don't work, then but only then, are they shot or done.

Still, I agree that Hattoon would give Marquez more than enough trouble. The Hatton after Mayweather I could see losing to Marquez, the one before, no. They were different fighters.

                    Casa was not shot?

You right cuz Casa looked brilliant versus Santa Cruz two fights before right?

Or what about the fight before against Katsidis yea Casa punch resistance looked great in that fight. He showed Iron chin he never was hurt or anything.

Was it just me or was Katsidis winning the majority of the rounds. And, was on his way to win a decision until Casa landed that ONE shot from hell? Yea I know, I know, Casa looked incredible in that fight.

Or could it be that Casa looked good against JMM. Because, lets face it Casa looked better against JMM then he did against Santa Cruz and Katsidis. But, could that be cuz JMM is not really a LW? Could it be that a shot Casa still look good cuz he fought a past prime fighter who was best at 126 and 130?

I guess cuz Holyfield look good against Valuev, he looked even better than what Haye did. That Holyfield was not shot at the time...
