    Marquez >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Pacquiao

I still love watching how Marquez made Pacquiao his ***** for 2 fights.....Marquez was and always will be greater than Pacquiao.....Marquez was dropped 4 times in their 2 fights but showed the true heart of a champion and outboxed pac's head off......Marquez >>> Pac

They're referring to his LW and LWW days. People say he ducked guys like Guzman, Diaz, Campbell, Bradley, Witter, Casamayor, Holt, etc. The only one of those guys who would have had any chance in hell against Pacquiao is Holt, and that chance is VERY VERY VERY VERY slim so I don't see a problem with it.

But anyways, at Featherweight and Junior Lightweight he probably is better, but at Lightweight and above Pacquiao is better. Although I'd like to see how a younger Marquez would have done at Lightweight. He'd dominate even more than he already has.

shame that a third fight between them is unlikely. those were 2 great scraps, and i thought marquez won the second fight at least.

I don't know...I mean don't get me wrong, Diaz is nothing more than a gatekeeper, but Pacquiao DESTROYED him. The only other guy to beat Diaz that badly was Kendall Holt back when Diaz fought at 140. And its not like Casamayor and a light punching Juan Diaz didn't wobble Marquez at all. The Casamayor fight was even before the KO, and Diaz took a lot of early rounds. However Marquez's skill was too much for them. But just imagine if Pacquiao at 135 was in place of them.

Marquez's claim to fame is two close fights with pacquiao and getting knocked down 4 times. lol.

great boxer, dont get me wrong. He is pacquiao's greatest dancing partner.

it's sad that marquez's best just isn't enough to beat pac.

If Paq fought once a week for the next year and beat every damn welterweight ranked in the top 50 his haters would still find a way to discredit him. They fail to comprehend the concept of self improvement, and besides Paq got beat by Marquez twice like Floyd got beat by Castillo twice.
