hop's right hand is textbook. he fires it straight from his chin with little wasted motion. he could also shoot it without notice when kelly didnt expect it.
impeccable timing is just as good as excellent hand speed.

martinez presents similar stylistic problems, but he also showed in the williams fight that he will eventually slow down after rounds of intense pressure.
I dunno man, Hopkin's ended up bolo punching his bald head in. That's when you have to ask questions.

by the time he pulled that sht off, hop had kelly seeing double...or triple.
besides, a bolo punch would come under the element of surprise category.

I don't think he is significantly less powerful than taylor. And the Middling Hilbilly had Pavlik very hurt.

He hits hard enough, and is fast enough, to get an accumulative stoppage.

I don't get that. A bolo punch can't be surprising. Maybe when SRL was doing it. But you know what's coming, I don't think Pavlik was thinking Hopkin's was signalling a time-out so he could make Pavlik a consolatory sandwich.

Martinez had less than a month to prepare for the Williams fight though, here he has had a full camp. I have seen Martinez kd guys with one punch but not seen him ko dudes cold. He dropped that guy Jordan that Porter struggled against with one solid punch and split his cheek wide open. He dropped Cintron and made his face swell up with just one straight left.

Dude has underrated power but his speed and accurate punching break people down over the course of the fight.

If he accumulates a ****load of punches he obviously can. I don't think there will really be one shot that ruins Kelly's night though.

With one punch? No. Accumulation? Yes.

In case you forgot Pavlik has shown to be one tough sob. Go to around the 2 min 50 sec mark if you want to see it again. Martinez does not really throw a lot of fast combination's from what I remember. And he cant fight with Pavlik in the pocket either anyway that would be a bad fight plan.

                    .

With Sergio being a slick southpaw that punches from different angles I wouldn't be surprised if Sergio caught Pavlik with a sneaky hard left up the middle just like he did against Cintron laid his out
