wat a ****** rule!!! IF both fighters make weight the first time, but on fight night the fighter weights 20lbs more and wins, thats a testament to the fighter.. so what if its unfair on the other guy.. sometimes people need that extra weight to win.. thats how fighters dominate.

1.B. Timing of Second Day Weigh-In
There shall be a second weigh-in on the morning of the event. At this weigh-in, boxers cannot weigh more than ten (10) pounds over the weight limit. If a boxer weighs more than ten (10)pounds over the weight limit, he will have two (2) hours thereafter to make the prescribed weight. If after two (2) hours he still weighs more than ten (10) pounds over the weight limit, the fight can proceed only as described below.

using that logic shouldnt we just have 1 weight class and not bother with this "fair" business where 147 lbs wimps make millions pounding each other?
I don't see the big problem, basically the IBF says you have to weigh in at your class, you get to gain 10 overnight, you get to gain what you can the day of the fight
One step away from the ideal which is just same-day weighins
