Anderson Silva would so great in boxing...

octagon is different than the ring his footwork looks good in octagon because its wider and he is always better striker than his opponent . but fighting in a pure discipline of boxing, i think silva needs to improve his footwork. and if he will concentrate on boxing only..i think he has a future in this sport.

Freddy roach said that Anderson seems to spar half speed and looked like a completely different fighter (better boxing) when Roach watched some of Silva's MMA fights. I forgot where I watched that interview.

Silva's one of the best strikers in MMA but I don't think he would translate to well into boxing. Probably a journeyman level at boxing. Silva might be better off being as a kickboxer or Muay thai fighter.
