Arlo has great hands, there's no denying that. Anyone who disputes it is ******ed. But his defense aint exactly up to par on a boxing level.
So it didn't suprise me that Rogers put him away the way he did. I was expecting barnett to do the same.
Fact remains, Arlo wouldn't have excelled in boxing with just his hands alone. And silva won't excel with this "head movement" that's bieng spoken up. He doesn't throw enough punches.
You mentioned him being winded for dancing around - excuse me for watching guys like Floyd dance for 12 roudns with no problem.. or pacman dance in and out while throwing 1200 punches without being tired - or losing sting.
And YES i compared him to the cream of the crop in boxing, because HE is the cream of the crop in HIS sport - so it's only fair.Comment

How doesn't it? The ****er has experience in Boxing from training his hands
In pressure of fighting infront of a crowd, under the lights, in experience with full contact without the protection of gear.. etc.
he had every conceivable advantage having been in the octogan for many times prior. It doesn't matter what sport it was.Comment

Exactly. And these clowns want to tell me " his first boxing match was 10 years ago, he has improved "
In what? Boxing or MMA? Boxing isn't his focal point, don't expect him to be a boxing god now when it isn't his profession. Muay Thai was his primary stand up option and THATS what he worked on. In progressing there, his hands and other things that you use in the sport (aswell as mma) progressed as well. But he hasn't a damn boxing fundamental in his core that has been improved upon because THAT isn't his profession. Becoming a great "boxer" after being KO'd years ago would NOT benefit his career any because none of the "great boxing" tools outside of punching would have been of any use to his profession.
What you have in Silva, in 10 years, is a much better "fighter" than 10 years ago, but virtually he's still the same "boxer".Comment
