i was at the fight and i have to agree pac just threw and threw but it also was why he won he was giving his all everybody i was in the audience with could see that but he couldn't hit clottey.

but because he kept throwing clottey couldn't get his punches off but when clottey threw he had the crowd oooing and awwing, pac never really did that until he got clottey on the ropes once it was pretty easy to tell pac was going to win because he was giving his all while clottey was just trying to land the better punches.

imo,if clottey threw 40% more he would have atleast got a split decision lost he was hitting pac with some real hard shots.

Pac controled Clottey's pace and offence through his work rate. When ever Clottey did open up Pac was able to land the more effective shots. About 45% of his punches were jabs, jabs used to keep Clottey in his shell. His Power punches landed at about 34%, Clottey's Power punches landed 35% (so much for being alot more accurate). If Clottey threw twice as many power punches (164/474) he still would have landed less than Pac (232 / 682).

pac had to throw 1200 punches b/c he cant adjust and didnt know how to break down clotteys defense...not even alittle.

and again, when clottey let his hands go, he was more effective and hit pac at will.

1200+punches at a 20% connect rate is terrible

27% connection rate is hardly "hitting at will".

If you threw a total of 1231 punches and only landed 246, that's not accurate. He only landed 138 more total punches than Clottey, but Clottey only threw 399 punches compared to Pacquiao's 1231.

my point exactly. which is why i felt most of pacs aggression was ineffective. b/c the moment clottey let his hands go, pac was there to be hit, clotteys shots were clear, effective and looked better.
