i can't really answer because i haven't studied vedic astrology much so I can't say if it's accurate or not. Plus the focus of it from the little I do know is completely different. For example I read once that in their astrology, their moon sign is more important than their sun sign. So if your'e a taurus with a leo moon, to them they consider you a leo..or something like that. I have no idea if that's accurate or not.

When they delay the hour, it will be mostly t get a good House in certain planet or to get a certain ascendant, but it will be mostly for the houses.

And when they get a certain date, it will be to get a day when there will be more favorable connections between the planets.

And if you are a Scorpio in Western Astrology in Vedic you are Libra, so that's why my doubts about astrology, and what astrology is suppose to be the real one.
