From calling them quitters, to fabricating stories about them being afraid of other fighters we wonder why boxers in general don't care about the public. Why is it that boxing fans more than any other type of sports fan think that they have a valid reason to call a boxer a coward/quitter.
why are boxing fans so quick to question a boxers manhood?

I don't agree with that or I'm not sure I understand your post. Everybody has different style preferences so what is boring to one can be exciting to another. But the most common reason you buy PPV or ticket is you want to be entertained.Comment

boxing is a sport made to entertain people, and it has done since records began. if boxers are not entertaining they dont get PPV if they dont get PPV they dont get paid and without any money they dont have a job. but boxing fans are over critical sometimes but other times are just telling the truth.Comment

If you pay the exhorbitant amount of money it costs to follow these fighters and support them than you have every right to critisize there performance. They are grown men, they still make their money, and they really don't care if people are critisizing them anyway.
Slandering someone is a whole different ball game. Thats just wrong. Critisizing someone for a weak performance is fair game.Comment

Obviously but that doesn't entitle you to it. I think to much pressure is put on boxers to entertain the public. In other sports do you ever here the media/fans say "well that was a great win Kobe Bryan and yes you won another NBA title but would you mind making the game more entertaining oh and we think you are a coward if you don't make it more entertaining".Comment
