Fighters that were ranked #1 when Floyd fought them.

Genaro Hernandez was the #1 ranked Jr. Lightweight in the world when Floyd fought him.

Angel Manfredy was the #1 ranked Jr. Lightweight when Floyd fought him (manfredy was #2 at the time floyd fought genaro).

Jose Castillo was the #1 ranked lightweight in the world when Floyd fought him.

Ricky Hatton was the #1 ranked Jr. Welterweight in the world when Floyd fought him.

Carlos Baldomir was the #1 ranked Welterweight in the world when Floyd fought him.

Oscar De La Hoya was the #1 ranked Jr. Middleweight in the world when Floyd fought him.

JMM was the #1 ranked Lightweight in the world when Floyd fought him.

Now Shane Mosley is considered the #1 Welterweight in the world.

How can anyone hate on that resume? Seriously.

it really is impressive, but pac beating mab and morales is still better. imo mayweather will only deserve to be number one again once he beats pac. or if pac keeps fighting the josh clotteys and floyd keeps fighting people like mosley. one or two more fights like that and i'd put pac back at 2.

How many of those did he actually fight at the weight they were ranked #1 at?

It's so easy to hate a dude like Mayweather. I've got both positive and negative feelings about him but I agree, Pac Man must be fought and beaten to consider Floyd the man (if it ever happens).

Its irrelevant if he didn't fight them at the weight class they were # 1 at. Stop trying to skew ****.

5 of 7 were fought at the weight they were #1 at. What's the problem?

LOL@ HATTON ranked number 1 at WELTER. Your list is full of holes. Baldomir was the Champ....he isn't ranked 1. No way Oscar was number 1 Jr. Middle.......lol!! JMM champ at Lightweight who fought Floyd at Welter
According to the Ring Pacman is number 1 welter. Mosley is 2.
