Thats just plain suicide and a lack of respect for a fighters career by Steward if he puts him back in the ring with Pac. Cotto should put out a restraining order on Pac and not get within a 100 feet of him. I love Cotto's heart but he needs to use his brain for once.

This strikes me as a money grab by Emmanuel Steward. He'd probably use the money to help out Tommy Hearns and his son Ronald at the expense of Cotto's health. This has crossed my mind.

cotto was interested in a rematch with pac before steward was even on board. he showed his interest when he attended clottey pac.

thats not stewards job if cotto wants the fight steward is supposed to put him in the best possible shape and have him as ready as possible for pac that is all. cotto has a lot of pride and i dont think he is happy about the way he finished his fight against pac and he wants another shot. cotto also was ready to rematch margs and that fight was basically ready to go after the mosey margs fight but antonio ruined that with his suspension. i know you hate cotto iceta but give the man credit he wants to avenge his losses and has fought some of the best wws out there without hesitation.

i think so too i think steward believes he can refresh cottos boxing skills and give him the right gameplan to defeat pac. at 154 and with a real trainer in his corner i think cotto will give a much better showing of himself against pac but he needs to fight the perfect fight in order to beat pac because pac has showed the chin workrate and speed to give cotto all kinds of problems

Cotto doesn't want to avenge his loss to Pac. I think he wants to sprint his way to another check.
