i think pac will beat him again even at 154,he saw how easily he beat him, made him run around the ring,i'm sure pac will be willing to go all the way up to 154 and beat him again

i know cotto doesnt duck anybody, but i would of thought he wont want another beating like that again, and pacquiao is just too good for him.

well, in theory, you are the ****** one here. it's not 2 pounds per-say, it's the fact cottos walk around weight now is much heavier (not to mention the older you get the more weight you are likely to gain). it becomes harder for cotto to make the WW division and he needs to do more sacrifices to make the weight, that's why he made the move to 154. i had noticed this about 5 months ago as i've seen him in person several times.

days before the pacquiao fight cotto was STARVING himself to make weight as show in the 24/7, he couldn't eat anything (it was that bad). so it's not 2 pounds per say when you look at the whole picture. do i think cotto would beat pacquiao at 154? nope BUT i do think i'd be a much more competitive fight as cotto would comfortably make weight and be healthier and properly hydrated for the fight.

Worried? No. The reason for the catchweight was simply to get Cotto playing to Team Pacquiao's rules. It wasn't a physical advantage, it was a mental one. The Art Of War. Roach knows exactly what he's doing and the buildup, catchweight and the game plan for winning worked out exactly as they wanted it to.

Losing one more pound since the Clottey weigh-in was not detrimental to Cotto's health, and Cotto aims to make 145 for every fight. Did you know this?

            Cotto on 145 pounds:

            Pre-fight:

"Its no concern of mine whether it is 145 pounds or not," Cotto said.

"That is the usual weight that we cut down to for the weigh in, and in the ring—on fight night—I will go up eight to 10 pounds, so actually during the fight I will weigh around 155," stated Cotto.

            Post-fight:

"I felt really good at that weight. It wasn't a problem for me."

cotto & steward should rather concentrate on the task at hand...how to beat yuri foreman.

Cotto has GREAT talent, if he gets focused he can beat Pac at 154.

Im not saying he will beat Pac,but that its possible.

the only thing they have to work out is the ******s catchweigths

if the figth is 4 the 154 belt ,then fight at 154

BTW: lots a people saying cotto cant change now. Well PAC was beat by Marquez TWICE and then he became the beast he is now.and it happened late in his career. So Cotto ,who is not old,can do the same. A great athlete can change for good if he works on it. Pacman is a great example of that

If cotto gets through Foreman impressively and defends the belt against any contender then i think it would be an attractive option for Pacquiao at 154.

I went to the fight, atmoshpere was great, but rounds 5-12 it was str8 blowout and it would have been worse but PAC likes cotto, at 154 I see the same outcome, maybe a Lil more competitive but not much.steward does sound like he is in it for the long haul though, it will be a major overhaul for cotto now if he wants to be at true elite level.
