Comments Thread For: Pacquiao vs Cotto Rematch is Very Possible, Says Steward

Trainer Emanuel Steward thinks a rematch between Miguel Cotto and Manny Pacquiao is very possible, if Cotto manages to beat WBA junior middleweight champion Yuri Foreman on June 5 at Yankee Stadium in New York. Pacquiao knocked Cotto out in the twelfth round to win the WBO welterweight title last November. He thinks Pacquiao can be lured to 154-pounds in chase of another divisional title. I would love to see a rematch with the new Cotto. I know Cotto has what it takes to beat him. He showed it in the first 4-5 rds.

lmao, Steward wants a payday, which is why he was so hard on Klit to get the KO. HBO didn't even want him. He wanted JT to be more aggresive because "you gotta throw to make money".

Manny is all about the money. Money Manny.

Bingo!! Who wants to see this fight? Why would anyone want to see Cotto take another beating?

I think that's kin of low for Manny Stewart to endanger Cotto's health by even suggesting this fight again.

I can understand if it was close but this was a demolition of Cotto.

Yes he will, but we have to wait on Roach weight draining demands, Roach was very worried, thats why Roach wanted Cotto at 145.

At 154 Pac dont stand a chance.

Sorry to break your heart but most likely Steward isn't going to do much for Cotto at this point.

Pointless rematch. Cotto is a great fighter, but Pacquiao will beat him, again.
