I am former USMC, so I've seen some bad hand to hand combat instructors who could kill individuals as well....

Nobody is scared ****less of the Russian military either....

They were getting booed for lack of engaging...from either one or the other...same difference...the fact of the matter is MMA don't want to see anything involving wrestling and submissions, or anything other than duking in out like a Boxer or Kickboxer would for a full 3 or 5 rounds....if you took away the punching...and even left kicking, MMA would be defunct....

Strikeforce doesn't have the HW division that UFC has...UFC has all the best...

And yes they were booed for not engaging but this happens in boxing all the ***ing time this is nothing new. They wern't booing them because they didn't want to see ground in pound , they were booing because it was a tactical fight. Trust me they don't boo when one guys is pounding another guy on the ground, they boo when they go to the ground and do nothing with it for long stretches of time.

Yes but they also wanted him to fire his promoter if he signed the contract with the UFC and also he could no longer compete in the Russian Sambo grand championships which he is the defending world champion of.


It's Dana's fault for not wanting to work with M-1 global as a co promoter which needed to happen if they wanted any part of Fedor. it was Dana's greed that screwed up that deal from happening.

If you fight a tactical fight like the one with GSP-Hardy you get booed...

They booed Thales Leites because he didn't have the skills to stand up with Silva...he even got cut...if they respected his skills then they would've had no problem with him trying to take it to the ground (though I admit that he was acting like a *****)...
