i can tell you're one of those idiots i was talking about----a guy who has the nerve to say floyd hasn't proved anything in the ring--when he's won 6 world titles, legit titles, at 5 weight classes in 11 years and never lost a fight---fought through injuries, risks his life in the ring, has arguable the greatest skillset in the history of the sport, has dominated fighters who would pluck you the **** out---and you say he hasn't probed anything? wow----you're a manny groupie so i can't expect anything more from you--but understand this---wen floyd dominates your hero---start bashing manny and call him a bum---coz he will lose to that so called bum you called mayweather---

Yes he didn't prove anything in the ring, what he prove to me is that he could really duck a fighter that could have a chance to beat him, that's what he do in more than half a decade and pick a fighter that has no chance to beat him at all.

Can you not see a difference in his demeanor thru the promotions. He is overly exciteable , wierd acting , not cool.

Shane is Cool man. Shane Knows, Jr. Knows and its eating Jr. up. Many of you know and your not saying but hanging on by the skin of your teeth.

Jr. makes statements like the thing with the O because he Knows deep in his heart he will lose this fight. Shane is the one of two men he cannot con with his trash mouth.

You have two weeks and a few days to enjoy or sweat it out.

Floyd's no dummy, I think many of you misinterpreted what he meant. Yes, he brags that he hasn't lost coz he hasn't. But, he doesn't focus primarily on his 0 as if it's the only thing he has. He focuses on his opponent and their flaws and how to beat him.

I feel that's how oscar felt also after watching floyd fight baldomir coz floyd looked lackadais[i]cal in the fight and slower and less active. Maybe because he went up in weight and peaked. So he decided to have floyd come up another weight class to slow him down even more and have all of the advantages [in order] to be the 1st to take his 0. But floyd didn't focus on his 0, he focused on oscar's tendency to fight up and down and stiff and him getting tired in the later rounds. And that's exactly what happened.

Oscar looked stiff in the fight as usual, fought up and down, and got tired later on in the fight, while floyd stayed calm, relaxed and cruised in the fight. When floyd opened up he hurt oscar a few times. The fight should have been scored a ud for floyd, not sd. That was bs.

But floyd is a thinking fighter, a brilliant mind in the ring, which is why he's never out of his comfort zone. He focuses on adapting to his opponent, no matter what their record is (or his record is). This is why i feel he keeps on dominating.

but its pretty obvious, generally speaking, compared to ALL-TIME greats (ray robinson, henry armstrong, ali, pep, louis, leonard, duran, hagler, etc.), based off of accomplishments and impact made in boxing there is NO WAY floyd should be mentioned ATG. not even close... he is one of the most talented boxers of his ERA, but not all-time... his style and approach to the sport caters only to boxing purists.... the same purists that loved pernell whitaker.

and no, i dont think pac should be considered ATG either... but his approach and impact on the sport definitely puts him in a BETTER position for consideration once he retires... plus, whether you agree with it or not, historians will look back at manny's career and it will look more impressive.
bert sugar is one of those historians, and he has more authority on the subject than any of us here on this forum.
