It's true, floyd's promotional fight and outside the ring activities will be more remembered than floyd's actual fight in the ring, even his own fans will admit it. nyahahahaha

Yes he didn't prove anything in the ring, what he prove to me is that he could really duck a fighter that could have a chance to beat him, that's what he do in more than half a decade and pick a fighter that has no chance to beat him at all.

Can you really say and believe that Jr. wanted this fight with Shane ? Jr. did not want this fight man, no way he wanted this fight.

Can you not see a difference in his demeanor thru the promotions. He is overly exciteable , wierd acting , not cool.

Shane is Cool man. Shane Knows, Jr. Knows and its eating Jr. up. Many of you know and your not saying but hanging on by the skin of your teeth.

Jr. makes statements like the thing with the O because he Knows deep in his heart he will lose this fight. Shane is the one of two men he cannot con with his trash mouth.

You have two weeks and a few days to enjoy or sweat it out.

Fixed it for you. I wasn't able to fix all the mistakes. Geez, man, use periods, commas, and the occasional paragraph. It makes the read all the better and easier to follow.

He just trains very hard, sometimes twice a day, and just focuses on the victory. Then he can talk **** coz he did what he had to do to win. It's a smart thing to think about.

Floyd's no dummy, I think many of you misinterpreted what he meant. Yes, he brags that he hasn't lost coz he hasn't. But, he doesn't focus primarily on his 0 as if it's the only thing he has. He focuses on his opponent and their flaws and how to beat him.

[Now] many people on here feel that floyd is preparing for his 1st loss by saying this. I'm telling you now, he won't lose to manny and shane that's for damn sure. Floyd said it himself, he told shane, that when shane watches him in the ring, he thinks it looks easy coz of floyd's output with his punches and lack of activity at times.

I feel that's how oscar felt also after watching floyd fight baldomir coz floyd looked lackadais[i]cal in the fight and slower and less active. Maybe because he went up in weight and peaked. So he decided to have floyd come up another weight class to slow him down even more and have all of the advantages [in order] to be the 1st to take his 0. But floyd didn't focus on his 0, he focused on oscar's tendency to fight up and down and stiff and him getting tired in the later rounds. And that's exactly what happened.

Oscar looked stiff in the fight as usual, fought up and down, and got tired later on in the fight, while floyd stayed calm, relaxed and cruised in the fight. When floyd opened up he hurt oscar a few times. The fight should have been scored a ud for floyd, not sd. That was bs.

But floyd is a thinking fighter, a brilliant mind in the ring, which is why he's never out of his comfort zone. He focuses on adapting to his opponent, no matter what their record is (or his record is). This is why i feel he keeps on dominating.

people say he ducked him and him, like they're in the business of pro boxing. People on here don't know shit! Who has floyd ducked? i really want to know. Who has he ducked?

and if you have somebody then explain hoe he ducked him. So all the margarito fans, and cotto fans, and cassamyor and freitez and kosta fans explain themselves. Even the mosley fans! I want an explanation of how floyd, so called, "protected" his 0 by ducking these guys.

Even the hatton fans: when hatton was at 140! People have the nerve to say floyd ducked him, which was obviously bull****. When hatton openly said he wasn't ready for floyd as well as his father.

i want explanations from the paul williams fans also. Maybe even the quitana and cintron fans. And, of course...the pac fans. Coz i will be more than happy to make you dumb ****s look like fools with logic and facts, not accusations. Cotto still hasn't called floyd out. It's been 5 years [and] he still has yet to call out mayweather when it counts.

but its pretty obvious, generally speaking, compared to ALL-TIME greats (ray robinson, henry armstrong, ali, pep, louis, leonard, duran, hagler, etc.), based off of accomplishments and impact made in boxing there is NO WAY floyd should be mentioned ATG. not even close... he is one of the most talented boxers of his ERA, but not all-time... his style and approach to the sport caters only to boxing purists.... the same purists that loved pernell whitaker.

and no, i dont think pac should be considered ATG either... but his approach and impact on the sport definitely puts him in a BETTER position for consideration once he retires... plus, whether you agree with it or not, historians will look back at manny's career and it will look more impressive.
bert sugar is one of those historians, and he has more authority on the subject than any of us here on this forum.
Your saying that Floyd only appealing to Boxing purists and people
who loved Pernell Whitaker doesn't mean enough to make him an
ATG? Boxing purists are the real deal. Only people who don't
respect the sweet science of boxing can't respect Floyd's work
                    in the ring.

Floyd wanted this fight 10 years ago. Did you forget already?
Or are you trying to not acknowledge a documented fact?
