Boxing is not a sport that readily lends itself to statistics, but one set of numbers is as elemental as a left-right combination: a fighter's wins, losses and draws. We often overvalue a good record and misinterpret a mediocre one; there are dozens of 10-loss veterans who are better than young fighters with only one or two defeats. [Click Here To Read More]

Thats very hard to believe, I mean anyone who is undefeated feels invincible to some extent. And wasn't Floyd making front of Mosley before saying look how many losses he has on his resume?

Without the "0" you are out of the ATG list. Wins against old Oscar and Corrales ain't enough to get you to THE list.

As a Mayweather fan, I find that hard to believe.

Specially when he always brings up never being beaten and how [insert fighter name here] has [insert number of losses here]. Ya know?

Thats what I'm saying, I think he just accidentally contradicted himself. He is still a very talented boxer no doubt, just not always the smartest when it comes to words. He is however one of the smartest when it comes to being in that ring.

It's an advantage he can use against his opponent. Doesn't necessarily mean he lives by it.

Who are the eight world champs to have retired undefeated and stayed that way?

                    Marciano
                    Lopez
                    Calzaghe
                    Ottke
                    Marsh
                    Loewe
                    Kim

                    Who's the eighth, anyone know?
