Yeah I understand where you are coming from.

I usually buy all the main PPVs, though...

I am also throwing a party for the fight too.

The thing with Baldomir is, I knew he couldn't do anything to Floyd, and Floyd wouldn't be able to hurt him.. so you basically have to realize going into that fight knowing what it's going to be.... Floyd did stink out the joint with that fight though. I think this fight is a different type of animal though... Mosley will be the most skilled fighter Floyd has ever fought.. he has real upset potential here. I am extremely interested.

      I agree
Reed why do you think so many posters here are saying that Floyd is gonna stop Shane and this is a walk in the park for Floyd and Shane has no chance?

I think people get a little caught up in the Margarito victory, and forget about a lot of things.. for instance, looking LESS THAN stellar against Mayorga.

Being outboxed by Cotto... 2 years ago.

Being 38 years old with 15 months of inactivity.

Couple that with the fact that Mosley has always struggled with boxers and now he will be fighting the best boxer in the world.

Couple that with his legs are not the same anymore, and he really doesn't move his head as much as he used too either.

Mosley may very well indeed look every day of 38 years old.

        I hope I am wrong.

Ok Ill give you that but what about the fact that Floyd couldnt stop the lightweight champion in JMM and he was tagging him all night long at will
JMM is 36 and Floydie couldnt finish him off
now he is suppose to stop granite chin and Iron Heart Suga Shane?
I can see Floyd pot shotting his way to an easy UD
Old or not legs or not
Shane is way faster than JMM and in order for Floyd to get off his shots he has to leave himself exposed and Im looking forward to Shane's hook landing on Floyds face
          It could be lights out
          Either way cant wait
so whats on the menu Reed?
          More wings?

"I find his style brilliant yet boring"? Really? Floyd cant help that he's just that much better than his opponents. Shane destroyed Margarito who destroyed Cotto, so if Floyd beats Shane with his 'Brilliant style' either by KO or UD how is that boring. Pac is a balls to the walls boxer/puncher who gets his face welted up on a regular. Exciting but technically ******. Floyd on the other hand is pinpoint accurate, controls the pace of the fight, has excellent ring generalship, shuts down his opponents offense, is technically flawless & does this all while avoiding getting hit. What do you watch BOXING for? If i were a trainer i could only dream of having a fighter with the skills and abilities of Floyd. Nevertheless haters will always have something to gripe about. Floyd schooled Baldamir, destoyed Coralles(rip),whooped Zab, embarrassed Gatti(rip),Ko'd an undefeated Hatton, gave aboxing lesson to the P4P #2Marquez and on May 1, 2010 will absolutely demolished the tough P4P#3 Shane Mosley.
After years of hearing about Floyd being so called boring i finally figured it out.....Fighting Floyd is like fighting the computer when your're playing a video game....its not fair....he's just too good.
I'm going to pay my money to see the best boxer alive today.

You'd have to be a chump to stream this fight. This is what boxing is all about, i only stream for fights that aren't worth the money. However this is a fight i will happily by on PPV.

Thats funny, but considering how exciting the majority of Floyds PPV's have been I think you'd have to be a chump to buy it. Thats just me though.

Besides the monthly subscription charge for the channel, it's getting show free over here (U.K), Sky Sports for the win lol.

I am giving it some thought. It's not the money so much as the late night for me, I'm used to being in bed at a certain time and the fights on the west coast tend to go pretty late for me. I know that sounds lame but I don't like feeling bad the next day because my body will make me get up anyway.

I've never bought a PPV before that cost more than $15, so it's a big occasion for me.
