Now is the time to cash in on what he has built, he won't get much better than he is now and he won't get much more money than he can now.

when he first set up negotiations with the klitschko brothers he was offered a lousy contract, and now that he is carrying a world heavyweight title belt, he has gathered huge support in the u.k but he is also getting some exposure on the world boxing scene. thus giving him a better chance at achieving a better contract with the Klitschko brothers. when the first negotiations started Haye was the enforcer but now the Klitschko brothers whant the fight more than ever.

He's smart yes.
