Right...that could be construed as hating Ricky. But then again: some people might have difficulty in expressing exact emotions and what they mean through a keyboard. I can see that he is fed up with all the "Hatton Loving". I am not necessarily so inclined to agree with EXACTLY what he said: But I do agree with both of you in a sense.

1.) Great victory for Ricky. Earned the right to become recognized as a legitimate threat at 140lbs, and perhaps a future great in the sport.

2.) His Rankings are too high on this forum. People are going overboard in ranking him as high as he is on the top 10 P4P lists.

Ive read enough of these types of threads to discern and decipher information through posts. I dont think he is trying to sound like he is "hating" but moreso conocting a gameplan to quell all this "Hatton Overrating" that I do believe is evident in Non Stop Boxing.

So by that method... I'm expecting to see Ricky Hatton at P4P No.2 ... LOL!... But do I really think that will happen? ... LOL!...

Beating the man doesn't necessarily make you the man. (i.e. Buster Douglas)

I've always thought that there's two types of P4P list, but people seem to get them mixed up.

As far as I see it, there's the type of P4P list that is THEE BEST FIGHTER RIGHT NOW, IF WEIGHT WASN'T A FACTOR!

And then there's WHAT YOU HAVE ACHEIEVED THROUGHOUT YOUR CAREER!

Hatton falls into the 1st and Hopkins falls into the 2nd...

yeah I see what you mean. I agree to some extent. Then again...there are always people who fall into both categories....IE Diego Corrales, Erik Morales, and Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Once again, let me say this. As soon as Hatton starts fighting big names in the US, he will get murdered. He will be outboxed by Mayweather, destroyed by Corralles, although he might take Cotto, though I doubt it. Stop riding his nuts because of one good win. I'm not saying he sucks and he deserves no credit. Sure, he gets credit for beating a good fighter. Although everyone saw how ****ing dirty he fought, he is 10 years YOUNGER than Tszyu, and though I won't count this as a factor he was in his hometown with 22,000 fans ALL for him + the ref beyond ****. You have to see that as well. In the States it will be all different, with a fair judge, no 22,000 screaming disrespectful fans. I thought booing the Anthem was ****ing just not right.
