And I'm saying this with an unblemished record of not being a ****.
    He's top 30 ATG imho.

top 30 atg? And they have no similarity. Calzaghe was a mastermind and adapter, and he were a volume puncher - more like Williams.

Calzaghe>Martinez and it's not even close.

                Calzaghe

                Southpaw

                12 round stamina

                Faster hands

                High workrate

                Martinez

                Slick Southpaw

                Tires out after 6 rounds

                Better footwork

Does not throw a lot of punches

                Clumsy/Falls down like Dirrell does

                Gets hit more than Calzaghe

Calzaghe can also be kind of slick at times too, now don't think I'm calling him the slickest fighter out their because he is not but he shows good lateral movements at times.

Watch how Calzaghe pops the jab out and moves out of the way of Jeff Lacy's left hook. And Calzaghe also did similar things against Kessler. Watch the whole gif image, In the beginning its close-up fighting then later in the gif you see how Calzaghe pops the jab out and avoids Lacy's left hook.

yeah, Martinez is definitley more skilled than Calzaghe.
