I can honestly say that i do miss the contender, the idea of making a reality show and have boxing in it was pretty cool. I hope a new contender, maby heavyweights to fill the void in that devision. You never know, their might be a good heavywieght contender out their in the world that needs some exposure.

This forum does have an ominous feeling without the presence of all the "Vote for Joey!" threads.

I thought it was pretty good. I enjoyed it.
I don't know why but I never watched the DLH-produced show on Fox...kinda regret that now but I'm just usually not enamored of Fox's efforts. With the exception of The Simpsons and a few others I just think their programming is weak.

There apparently in negotiations for a second season so here's hoping...

Needs some major changes to the format though...

More analysis of styles, training techniques and the fights themselves...

Maybe drop those ****** challenges and have the 'best' trainer throughout the week choose their own match up? Or something like that?

I'm glad the "hour-long Everlast Informercial" is over, I mean the "Contender" and I hope there isn't a second season. Had Stallone not tried to make the boxing scenes look like one of his movies, it would've been half decent.

I thought it was Home Depot? Or Toyota?
