Do you miss the Contender?

Yes, now I have nothing to watch on Sunday nights. I liked it when it was on because I had a solid boxing weekend.

Espn FNF
Saturday-HBO/SHO
Sunday-Contender

It feels so diff now that its over

I really hope they bring it back next year...

It was a quality show and I enjoyed it, I would still prefer them to air fights instead of reality crap but you have to take what you can get and be satisfied I guess.

Actually I would prefer The Contender over fights, ESPN puts on some REALLY ****ty fights and calls them main events and praises them. But I would rather watch some nobodies in a built up reality series than 2 nobodies in the ring who dont know what they are doing.

Some if not most boxing fights are boring as hell, atleast Contender had drama.

There is a void now on Sunday nights but at least you can catch some of the replays every other night on CNBC. It's not the same as fresh episodes but at least it is something. Hopefully, they'll have a dvd out with entire fights on the extras. Maybe ESPN will pick it up for another season.

Sunday has "Entourage" which settles me a bit. I love that show.
