dude, we're talking about Berto fighting serious fighters before fighting top dogs, Berto defeated Rodriguez for the belt, fine, who were this guys last opponents before Berto??? went ten rounds with a 11-6-1 journeymen before fighting Berto for the belt, Judah and Clottey wouldnt be bad fights for Berto, theyre good oppositon for him, yea Judah lost to Baldomir, Clottey, Tszyu Cotto Mayweather, etc. but he did defeat a prime Corley, and knocked out Cory Spinks to become the legit 147lb champion, trust Dibella knows what he's doing, Collazo, Urango, Quintana???, you think he's ready for top dogs after those three??? you're delusional. Judah had Cotto in danger, caught Money with good shots, lost by 2 points with Clottey, please, get oriented and look up the facts, if he was to fight Judah or Clottey that would actually be his biggest wins and names on his record thus far.
My View On WBC Champ, ANDRE BERTO.

I hear about people trying to throw Berto's name in with the likes of Mosley, Mayweather, Cotto and Pacquiao, here's my opinion on this: To me Andre Berto is TOOO green still, very talented but not in the category of those big guys, yet, Quintana knocked him down in the 1st round even though the ref called it a slip and no it wasnt a rabbit punch, he hit him in the equilibrium (side of ear), to me he still needs atleast 2-3 more fights, Maybe Zab Judah (known name and a good test), then Clottey (he'll cage up because of Berto's speed, also a good test), a Collazo rematch (1st encounter was close), Paul Williams could be a very winnable fight, maybe Alfonso Gomez since he's been on a winning streak and a decent known name, but Mayweather will crush Berto and he wouldn't fight Berto anyways, Berto is not mainstream level, so will Mosley in my view and Pacquiao will definitely own him, and if Cotto returns to his sharp boxer-puncher style under Emanuel Stewart he will be a huge risk and a possible loss but is yet to be seen, we'll have to wait till June 5th, in my opinion I think if Cotto wins they'd probably match him up with Berto next, for Berto's WBC title, it would be interesting to watch...what do ya'll think???
Berto would destroy Cotto whose very overated.Comment

Cotto isn't over-rated, his 2 losses were to "suspect" cheaters by boxing circles, in my view I do think Margarito cheated but I can't say the same about Pac, he held good wins early in his career, look up his record, he hardly ever fought people with losing records like most do in their early careers, against tough people like N'dou, prime Corley, Bailey, prime Quintana, Paulie Malignaggi, Zab Judah and Shane Mosley, how would you consider that over-rated??? then I'd like to know your opinion on fighters like Mosley, and Malignaggi...two fighters who are currently on top of their game, Mosley is fighting Mayweather and Malignaggi beat Diaz and is fighting for a title next, people whom Cotto beat, and in Malignaggi's case he destroyed him. Nothing that Berto has done in the ring thus far is making these other guys lose sleep, just like what Merchant and Lampley said on HBO.Comment

Berto would get KO'd by all the top guys, including Cotto. I highly dislike when Berto rushes in throwing punches then eventually clinch, that's going to get him put to sleep on day. I haven't always been a Cotto fan but he's far from overrated.Comment
