IMO, hes very underrated now. Everyone thinks they have the blue print on him and that he is just some robot out there. Yeah Hopkins got him good but not many fighters can fight the way Hop can fight. Martinez can do those things but he is smaller and will be eating jab and then a big punch on the tail end all night.

Pavliks used to getting discredited for beating good fighters like Taylor and Miranda. And most fans even including me, picked against him when he fought Miranda and Taylor. Even the Betting odds were against Pavlik for both of those fights.

noone is overhyped. everyone fights who they promoter sets them up with they win or lose. styles make fights end of story the only ppl who hype of fighters are fans. hype is a matter of opinion and the more that likes the guy the more hype he gets. its no fact its not a gauge on how good someone really is. all fighters deserve respect for training and getting in there. he is the champion of his division he lost a bad fight to bhop. pavlix has a good basic style and will do good against guys who is in front of him matched right he wont lose just like any fighter matched wrong he might lose. thats how boxing goes
