Is Pavlik overhyped?

No. He's underrated. He took the life out of the two most hyped Middleweights, Miranda and Taylor. Both were shells of their former selves after Pavlik KO'ed them. Sturm doesn't want it and Williams declined the fight over a split, and also declined it in 2008. I'm not saying Williams is scared because he did sign the contract in 2009, but he didn't take the opportunity when he had it again. The only guy you can argue that he ducked is Abraham, but that's one guy.
So what else do you want from him? You want him to KO Winky Wright? If he wins on Saturday theI don't wanna hear anything from the Pavlik haters.Comment

yes me to, as i to think he is overhyped and a basic fighter
but seriously bruh...i think sexy sergio will get robbed
he got ****ed in the ass pretty hard in the cintron fight
and he could have arguably took the pwill fight
i dont like his chances in this fight in the scorecardsComment

Regardless of whether or not he's overrated I don't see of how people can root for him because he's a fucking diva and he doesn't take his licks like a man. Complains about everything and makes up every excuse of why his Middleweight reign is pathetic.Comment

he beat arthur abrahams best opponent at mw edison miranda and softened him up for abraham in the rematch pavlik is becoming seriously underrated since the loss to hopkins a veteran who has made very good fighters like tarver tito and oscar look like ****.Comment

I want him to lose the belts so he can move up to 168lbs. That's danger zone for him. Those guys would be glad to put on a clinic against him.Comment

No matter what I see fireworks this fight. As for Kelly being overhyped...it just depends on who you are talking with at the time. IMO he still needs to beat a big name for people to get off his back. Sure everybody says the two Taylor wins were good, but he has not had another big name fight. If you beat a big name you seem to be good around here. I just hope he wins and fights Paul Williams. A.K.A. the big name. Then the threads might start about him, boosting him to a Floyd or Shane status. The you might see the term "overhyped" "overrated" come into play.Comment
