All I know is that fight happens. And, Pac stops him. The majority will discredit Pac and say Berto was too green, that he was not ready.

Berto vs Marg/ Clottey and Pac vs Mosley is more sensible. If Floyd wont be able to beat Shane convincingly, then Pac should go for Sugar if ever the Mayweather fight wont happen.

just in case pac-floyd doesnt wont get done, this fight makes more sense than pac-margarito. or even the loser of mayweather-mosley fight would make more sense than fighting margo

Berto deserves it a lot more than Margacheato, but fighting Margacheato would make more sense for Arum and Pac. Pac has no choice, but to fight Floyd or SSM next.

No not me, good win. Berto has wins over Estrada, Collazo, Urango, Quintana; pretty good WW resume and as I've said, I've seen 0 improvement from Berto, so he might as well remain green. Just want to see Pacquiao face someone who isn't always there to engage, someone who'll occasionally tie him up. Berto has the hand speed and power to make things interesting. Whats more intriguing is, Pacquiao (As of late) has been susceptible to uppercuts and Berto does throw a mean one.

This, in my opinion, is the problem with boxing. How is it that no one was outraged that Berto was scheduled to fight Shane but now that Pac has room on his calender, suddenly Berto doesn't deserve to fight Pacman. Boxing should be about the best fighting the best, shouldn't it? Pacquiao has no prospective fight and Berto is one of the best WW so why not fight him? No drug test and Pac would get the lion's share of the money; this is a win-win. In addition, ducking is not going to help the Pac-meister in his quest to win over new fans and doubters.

The problem with boxing is too many people want to see these young lions thrown into the mix way too early..do we really wanna see another vargas career path..these young boxers need to earn their stripes..go thru some season vets before going up against the top tier fighters...I for one was against berto vs shane. for this same reason..mosley wouldve creamed berto..
