I remember when Pac/May negotiations were going on..Roger kept saying that Pac would be an easy fight for Floyd, but the real test would be Mosley..even when Floyd was insulting Shane, Roger stated he was the toughest opponent!..he always said that Mosley was the tougher fight..they respect Mosley..so Im excited to see what they bring come fight night..
true....Roger also BOLDLY picked Shane to beat Marg....in Roger's words "Shane Mosley is gonna whoop Margarito's ass" ......Roger is HOPING Shane comes to brawl

Yup, he sure did. Roger knows his ****. And he's a wee bit nervous about this one. Anyone who has listened to him talk about Shane over the years can see this.
Going in to his Hernandez, Chavez, Corrales, DLH, Castillo(both times), Hatton, Baldomir, Judah fights, (I even remember a few people thinking Marquez had a chance because of Floyd's long lay off) boxing fans thought that Floyd was facing his toughest challenge to date(at the moment). But they all had the same result. I know I sound like a nut hugger, but i'm just saying Floyd does take challenges, people just forget because of how one-sided he beats his challenges. Outside of Castillo 1(which he made up for it by immediately giving him a rematch and beating him again), Floyd has left no doubt that he was better than his biggest challenges, he beat them and you say it was boring or you liked it, whatever but one thing you didn't say is "so and so could beat him in a rematch". And when you did say it(Castillo), Floyd beat his challenger again.
Just like those aforementioned fights, I have a feeling that Mosley will join that list in the forgotten challenges Floyd has taken.
If Shane tries to brawl he gets embarrassed. If he tries to box he gets embarrassed.
Things aren't that black and white. Shane doesn't brawl aimlessly as he's proven throughout his career and he can box when he wants to. Floyd's a great tactician, but has also shown that he doesn't like being pressured because he can't set up, and though he beat and dominated what many considered a dangerous Diego Corrales, that was many YEARS ago at a few weight classes below. Mosley presents a lot of problems for Floyd in the sense of speed, punching power, experience, and overall willingness to keep on fighting.
I have it being a competitive close fight, but I don't see an easy fight for either guy for different reasons.
