ray Austin deserves shot more than solis or valuev

Austin and Don King were talking a lot of **** before the fight.

Wlad destroyed Austin and then laughed in King's face after the fight.

classic post fight interview too...my sparring partners were faster...LOL! Give Austin credit after that fight he realized wlad was right so instead of being your typical American fighter(get fat) he cut 25 pounds & drastically improved his handspeed & conditioning.he's done everything a guy can do to get back in the picture & should be in the final eliminator IMO.I think he beats 75-80% of the hw's in the world.

Austin does deserve it. he was the top contender and was passed over. Solis is a hot prospect but has not fought a meaningful opponent yet. I would like to see Solis do good but I want to see him fight a good fighter before he is thrown into a title shot.

I agree that solis needs to step up & fight a couple more guys but an Austin fight makes sense.

how many times you seen Austin fight other than the wlad fight? Probably none...if you had you might realize he's not that bad.he's had some great fights & has been in 3 eliminatiors going 2-0-1.he dropped 25 pounds after the wlad fight because he realized he needed to get faster & improve his conditioning.most American fighters get fat & complacent but he did the opposite.he's done everything a guy could do to get back in the mix.

Wlad is the best heavyweight in the world! I've got about 10 of austin fights & he's not bad but he's not at wlad level but not many are.watch his fight with ibragimov...even his owen beck fight was ok...I know owen beck isn't very good but it was a good fight.

im joking dude.... austin is a good fighter.......... alot of people give him bad ****, cause wlad destroyed him, but they forget that wlad is the best heavyweight in the world..... i think austin deserves more of a shot with solis and valuev....

a guy losing to the best heavyweight in the world is nothing to be ashamed of....too many people think a guy loses once or twice he sucks...it's a joke! Glen Johnson lost 12 fights & he knocked out Roy jones & beat tarver...I don't understand some peoples thinking.

it should be Austin fighting solis or valuev.the last 3 years he has been in 2 eliminators & is 1-0-1.he got clobbered by wlad but he's dropped 25 pounds & has wins over golota & davarryl williamson the last 16 months.he's had problems with king recently(surprise,suprise).it should be him fighting in a final eliminator vs valuev or solis.he's better than people think.they only think of the wlad fight.forget that fight & he's been pretty good & again he's lost 25 pounds.weighs 225-228 now vs wlad 248....he's earned his high ranking.

regardless...hes not winning the title...solis would beat the crap outta austin
