1) Manny Pacquiao was a Super Featherweight at the time so his fight with Erik Morales was always going to be at Super Featherweight or Lightweight. If Erik Morales didn't want the rematch, why didn't he refuse the fight? Not only did he sign for the fight, he signed for it rematch AT THE SAME WEIGHT after he lost. And who said their was a huge fine if he Morales didn't make weight? Manny wasn't even part of Top Rank for this fight so he had almost 0 negotiating power.
2) Let me get this straight. Oscar who is THE don of negotiating and is known worldwide to be the man who calls the shots in all his fights because he is the draw got the unfair part of the deal? Let me remind you, Pacquiao was campaigning at Super Featherweight, moved up and fought David Diaz (who lets be honest, isn't the biggest lightweight, nor is he a household name or a fantastic boxer) for his sole fight at lightweight and Oscar calls him out. Now here is the KEY part, Oscar made Manny come up two weight classes. He was 135, for ONE fight...and then forced to move up to 147 a weight he had never tried. Oscar himself said he was gonna come down to Welterweight and repeatedly in camp made noise how "I feel stronger at welterweight". Lets be real, and lets remind ourselves. Who was the underdog in this fight? Who was the smaller man? And who was the man expected to get pasted? I was on Boxingscene reading posts back then, and almost nobody thought Pacquiao would win. Mayweather fans get off your high horse and remind yourselves what you thought about that fight at the time.
3) Yeah, he put a catchweight on Cotto. So what? He had one fight at welterweight and he just beat Hatton for the 140lb title. Cotto was the bigger man and he wanted a crack at Pacquiao. Given that Pacquiao was the bigger draw, he can make a few stipulations like ask Cotto to shed a few lbs to even it out....if Cotto didn't like it, he didn't have to sign the contract! BUT HE DID, he liked the contract, made the weight, fought like a champion and got the biggest pay day of his career.
When Pacquiao was a young fighter we all know how broke he was. That man was from one of the countries in the world that fights the most poverty and he was part of that poverty. He had no real boxing training no amateur background so he was just really thrown into a ring and had to learn as he went along. He was less than 100lbs for his first fight, thats how broke he was and how old was he? 19? His body was growing so when he couldn't make weight, he starved himself but some things the human body can't do. He was young and broke, he made a mistake....yes he shouldn't have made it, but are you all gonna come down on him for not making weight for a fight none of you even watched or cared about 10 years ago? Especially given he was a broke mother****er back then. How would you guys have handled the situation?!?
As for 10oz gloves? Get your facts right, welterweight gloves are 8oz and everybody should know this. The whole 10oz glove thing wasn't even serious, Mayweather hates fighting in them as much as Pacquiao does.
Yep, did Mayweather make 144 in his fight with Marquez? Nope, he made 146, so he cheated Marquez on the scales. ANd everyone knows he cheated Marquez on the scales which means he has a history of not making the contracted weight, so a penalty was imposed for him to make weight.
With regards to the random blood testing. I see both sides of the argument in a weird way. I personally think Mayweather is only forcing Pacquiao to do the tests to get into his head and if that's what he wants to do that is fine. But if you guys want to accuse Pacquiao of taking PEDs because crackhead Roger said "That mother****ers on A SIDE METH", because Floyd Snr a known former drug dealer in his time is saying so and because Paulie loudmouth Malignaggi, who is jealous that the 2 guys who whooped his behind got KTFO by Pacquiao, is saying so. Be my guest. This thread is bull****. And before you start saying I'm a ******* or whatever. Read my posts from the last few days, I love Mayweather and his boxing skills and have always respected them...just as much as I admire Pacquiao and his boxing skills.
Why the catch weight? why the penalties??

Why didnt Mayweather also request such a penalty? because he knows Pac does his job and comes in on weight.

And maybe you should define the word PENALTY first
PENALTY:a punishment imposed or incurred for a violation of law or rule
so if you dont break a RULE, you dont get PENALIZED.....duhh
