1.) Erik Morales, after struggling to make weight against Raheem in a one-sided loss, fought Pacquiao in a rematch at one weight division lower. Pacquiao put a massive weight penalty in the contract with an absurd fine if he came in a single lb over the limit. Morales killed his body to make weight, couldn't hydrate properly, and Pacquiao came in the ring bigger to add insult to injury.

2.) Manny Pacquiao put a weight penalty on Oscar De La Hoya. If he came in a single lb over the limit, he would be fined an absurd amount.

3.) Pacquiao forced Cotto to fight him at a catch-weight and forced him to put up his belt on line even after Cotto said he didn't want to since he wasn't allowed to weigh-in at his full limit.

The commission has it's own rules to punish anyone who fails to make weight. It is not a boxer's job to set the fine amounts. An example is below:

Manny Pacquiao, in 1999, around the same time Mayweather was dominating opponents such as Hernandez and Manfredy as the official champion, failed to make weight. Pacquiao lost his title on the scales and was penalized by the COMMISSION. Pacquiao was knocked out in the 3rd round by Singsurat despite having an unfair weight advantage.

Pacquiao has requested Mayweather wear 8oz gloves. This is only allowed by the commission if both fighters agree, as 10oz gloves are standard. Mayweather, showing his desire to get the fight signed, agreed to Pacquiao's demand.

Pacquiao then requested Mayweather be fined $10M if he weighs in a single lb over 147. This is the job of the commission, not Pacquiao, but Mayweather once again agreed.

Mayweather's only demand, was OSDT, which would be done to both of them, not just Pacquiao. This is allowable by the commission if both sides agree, just like Pacquiao's glove size demand. After initially agreeing, Pacquiao would change his mind and once again try to change the rules of an official organization, by requesting the USADA to change their standard rules and set cutoff dates which would render the random testing useless.

It's time Pacquiao stop trying to change the rules and let these organizations do their job. His behavior has been a total embarrassment to the sport of Boxing.
couldnt have been said any better. i was mentioning roach in another thread when he talked about mosley coming to his gym to ask for a fight with pac. freddie then says to shane, we can make a fight, can you get down to 143. his reason was why should shane have all the advantages..what?? why even move pac up to so called WW if u want all the threats in the division at catchweights. the ***** move was complete when o freddie went on record and said floyd cant make his own rules, lol.

You do know Roach was aware Toney was ataking steroids right??

i'm paraphrasing the quote from memory...but it's along these lines:

"He took it to get over a back injury so he could train.....we thought it would be out of his system by the time of the fight" - Roach

A cavalier attitude don't you think??

I guess practice and a seasoned strenght and conditioning coach makes perfect eh?

"Salido tested positive for the steroid nandrolone after the fight. However, Salido had a follow-up blood test the day after at LabCorp, a nationally recognized blood lab, and the findings were negative of any steroids. "

Why is it Floyds testing with a private lab is good and the NSAC is bad today, but when Salido failed the NSAC test and sought out private testing and PASSED its no good?

Referencing to proven roided fighters of Roach's PAST while connecting them Ariza, a man who just recently joined Roach's team in 2008 is a BIG FAIL for conversation.

Of course, anyone can do google search and nitpick whatever they want without taking it in face value.

I really do think Olympic testing is beneficial to the sport and Pac is the dumb idiot (he refuses to take a bus to Vegas because of ****** superstitions FFS), but for others to continue with this PED accusation brigade with evidence such as silly quotes like "only I know what Manny takes" is just pathetic. You'd think someone, not just the Mayweather camp, would've owned Pac's team by now by showing proof of steroid purchases or even a simple snitch associated with Pac's team.

The reason why a lot of those fighters were never caught before [insert here] drug test was because no one ever suspected them. Pac has all the su****ion in the world and NOTHING has yet to come out to the public. Here we are just a bunch of posters on a forum with only google to use as a way of "PWNAGE". C'mon stay on ****ing track. You should WANT the fight to happen. You should WANT Pac to take the test and pass it. You're all ****ing bitter and just want to see him found guilty in the end because he ****ted on a great fight that will possibly never happen.

You don't comprehend very well do you...? So let's see...he failed a blood test, went and washed out his system and passed another. How does this relate to Floyd's testing?

Floyd is now using a "private lab"
