If Pavlik beats Martinez he should get credit because Martinez style is very difficult. He's a southpaw with an awkward style. Martinez is very hittable though, he also tires late in fights. Pavlik should win by stoppage, that's my prediction. I think Pavlik will come through real big in this fight. I won't be on bandwagon though.

I was a huge Pavlik fan way before and have been sorely disappointed with his choice of opponents as of late. Should he beat the solid Martinez, I will be most definitely back with him 100%. I just hope he can stick to facing stiff opposition and no more jobbers.

Hopefully the winner fights Williams next, then Zbik.

I'd radher watch my boy Zbik fightin him next, just because hes from my country. but Pwill is a bigger fight, thats true and I won't be sad if Pav fights Pwill next, but only IF Pav beats MARAVILLA and Pwill beats the Puerto Rican.

I would not call Pavlik a great middle weight for beating a welter weight. Who lost to Margarito by Ko, Lost to Williams who lost to Quintana, Had a tough fight with Cintron who lost twice to Margarito. Pavlik's wins against Taylor and Miranda are better wins to me. If he loses its a bad loss though.

He has to get credit. I still like Pavlik but haven't seen him fight live since the Hopkins fight because he is always fighting lesser opponents on bull **** ppv. I thought Hopkins would outpoint him anyways but did not expect him to shut him out like that.

Secondly, I remember prior to hopkins this board was FULL of Pavlik fans, remember the days of "Pavlik will knock Calzaghe out!" type of threads every day? Seems like it was so long ago. But since then, Kelly lost to bhop and has fought a couple weak ass opponents. Will a Kelly win get some of those old fans back & possibly gain some new ones as well?

Lastly, if he loses, and loses bad, is it safe to say his career is just about over, meaning, he'll never be on the top again?
Pavlik at 160 is a monster. Simple and plain.
