u ppl really think arum has sumthin to do wit manny's success, huh???i dnt think so!!! its manny and roach. sure arum has the clout to make matches. that mattered b4. but now, manny has more than enough of his own star power to get any fight he wants done, done. i guarantee u one day, the two r gonna split and the split aint gonna be on good terms.

You need a promoter at the early stage of your career but when you get as big as Pac all you need is a manager, The rest is easy..

actually I am of the opinion once you get bigger you do need a team that a good promoter has

Because Pac has a boring personality added to that Clottey is twice as boring. It's great that's Manny's humble and respectful towards his opponents but Floyd does have a point. He created a personality, a character who is a villain because everyone would watch the villain and pay to see the villain lose. Everybody loves the good guy but they can't stop watching the bad guy.

Uh, no. Hopkins and Mosley own part of a promotional company. When they are fighting you can be certain that Richard Schaefer (among others) are handling the promotional details. Mayweather is using GBP as his promoter, and Roy probably worked for free in his last fight. Hardly makes a good case for your point.

the point is those fighters have wayyyyy more input into who they fight. look at pac, i mean arum is basically settin up all his fights against TOP RANK opponents and no one including pac is sayin nything. its sick. arum is ruining his legacy with this margs ****. hbo wont even sponsior that fight.
