Don't know if you write this stuff to get a rise out of ppl or you are serious. There is nothing wrong in rooting for your favorite fighter, but common this guy hasn't done anything spectacular against a big name opponent. Then you type that Paulie is a step up, no Maidana was the step up.

Don't know if your the type like the Virgil Hill fans that as long as he was winning against no name opposition he had a rabid fan base in North Dakota. To say he would take the challenges and risks to come out on top is more honorable than just dissing the other contenders like they are no skilled nobodies

Kotelnik didn't beat Maidana it was a bogus hometown Split Decision win. But i do think the Bradley vs Maidana winner will try to get PACMAN next and not bother with Alexander. Alexander will likely be a second choice.

I now believe in Alexander's power - enough to not be surprised if he KOs Kotelnik. I'm still in shock at what he did to my dude Urango. :shk1:

Yes Sir. I've seen the match and it was a close fight. I personally scored the fight for Maidana 115/113, with round 7 being an even round. I think Maidana out worked Kotelnik, but being in Kotelnik's backyard he wasn't going to get a close discision. Maidana got caught with some shots that he shouldn't have because he kept his hands down while in punching range. But Kotelnik hung in there with him, it was a good scrap.

I have heard that too, it was a split decision but Maidana gave a good account of himself bu Kotelink did show the chin and some ability. Been looking to see this fight

I'm not Wazaa by any means, but I think I may be seeing a bit of hypocritcy from some people. Kotelnik is a bum when he fights Khan, but would be a good fight for Alex. If Alex wanted a real fight, he should fight Zab in the Lou, at a catchweight if he's feeling lucky. But he'd rather fight Spady, Maidana, and Kotelnik, because honestly those are easier, less dangerous fights than Zab, and I'm sure someone on his team knows that.

We are disappointed that he is fighting Bradley instead." [Click Here To Read More]
