Damn Miguel Cotto Might Go Up To 160 One Day!!!!

I don't think so...
For those who live in the Miami / Ft Laud area, Cotto held a private Open Training session a couple of weeks before the Press Conference in NY. Here are some things that came out of that training sessions based on what fans and Cotto stated:
* Arum pushed this fight with Foreman, Cotto simply abliged...he didn't want to go to 154lbs
* According to Cotto, he's walking around at 148lbs and that they're implementing a diet to get him to 154lbs and being able to transfer his speed and power (not as simple as just gaining weight).
* Says he also appreciates fans who stuck by him and that he noticed many of his fans and fans of Boxing all together have sort of thrown him to the side, he wants to prove he's still one of the best.
More than likely, he'll be back at WW after this fight win or lose. He and the Boxing world both know he doesn't belong at 160lbs.Comment

I dont get it , Pacquiao's trajectory tells us this isnt impossible.
OK , I think its dramatic yes , and Im uncertain bout his success. I agree with some of you.
But think about this.
Cotto came in at times and fought at 160.
He fought guys taller than him iand that some prob think would have had some type of success at 154 and even at 160.
If Miguel can manage to put 4-5 pounds of muscle in the right places. He can easily and comfortably make 154. And if he fights at 154 , he will most likely come in weighing 159-16.. (something at fight night).
Ok with the weight I dont see a problem.
Ok his style and opposition are something completely different. There are monsters at 154 and 160.
Call me crazy but if he can remember how to be a body puncher , I can see him having a chance against P-Will and Pavlik. Angulo could get it too. And Yuri is bout to get it IMO. Im not sure who else.
It will be difficult.
Either way. This shows you the heart he has. And I think that if he actually faces those guys. Even if he losses , his HOF chances will actualy increaseComment
