Should Margarito get discredited for his wins?

I have seen trainers checking hand wraps the odd time. It makes sense that they must always do this. Only thing that confuses me is why Margarito would even try it once if that is the case. I think maybe he new what was coming from Mosley somehow and freaked out.

Can you really get away with plaster or anything hard in your hand wraps? Im just a boxing fan but it seems something like that would be checked out before and after fights. I just hear Margarito getting discredited for some of his wins and Kos. It was a dumb and fcked up thing to attempt to do against Mosley but he got caught. And I don't see how you could get away with it. Does anyone think that you can get in and out of the ring with plaster in your hand wraps? personally I still give him credit for his wins because I don't think you can cheat that way and get away with it.

i personally dont discredit him for any of his wins at all. I think that he would have used the same things as he used in the Mosley fight which were blocks of some description and they would have been picked up by Evangelista Cotto for sure. Losing against Mosley after getting caught is a coincidence too.

No one will know if he used them in previous fights or not so you can not discredit his wins.

Perhaps, Marg cheated in the Mosley fight for the first time. Wasn't he partying too much and not training well for that fight.

Maybe he didn't feel secure enough to beat Mosley so he cheated.

Yeah but we dont know how long for, So we can't say like "He's done it his whole career" because we dont know. But id estimate he's proberbly done it in his last 5 fights at least, Anyone who saw the 2nd fight with Kermit Cintron will agree he proberbly did it in that fight. That was a brutal knockout

Cintron is on record as saying that's the hardest he's ever been hit.
