I have no problems if an athlete states that they are in their sport for the money. What else are they out there for? Showing up to a job can be fun for some but for others it could mean death. The beauty of boxing is that all fighters have a style that plays into their natural ability. Pacquiao fights aggressive and so does Mosle. mayweather fights using a defensive posture which makes his style unique. A disgrace to the sport is someone who shows up out of shape, and has poor sportsmanship. Mayweather has never shown up toa fight not at his peak and he wins with a formula that works for him. If you want to talk about a disgrace then point out Mosleys admitted illegal drug use.

Although I've enjoyed watching Mosley growing up and he is one of my favorite boxers ever, that last line you said was nothing but the truth.

Watching this 24/7 episode, you see 2 different type of African-American males. You have the classy, soft spoken, all business, no trash talking Mosley. & then you have Mayweather. An ignorant, foul mouthed fool who is unable 2 have a decent conversation with out talking about how much money he makes or has made. Its very sad 2 see that the 2nd guy I named is the more popular 1. All Shane has ever done was fight the best & be a humble individual. Floyd on the other hand is a great, great fighter with a pathetic Welterweight resume & yap doesn't release anything worth reapting. Shane said something I've always said in the past. Floyd is very insecure that's why he feels the need 2 reminde us & himself that he is the best because deep inside he knows he's really not. Probably the most talented boxer in the sport 2day but talent doesn't always promise victory when faced with a serious challenge. This time Floyd had no choice but 2 challenge himself with a 147 pounder in Mosley & not another 140 or 135 pound figher. Btw, I hope all you Margarito fans were watching Naazim talk about the BLOCKS that fell out of his handwraps. I swear that dude makes me sick. His fans make me even sicker. hey whats up boxeo! i respectfully disagree with you on this one. floyd is triing to be this era's ALI a talented trash talker. he hypes up his fights and it works as he is the number one in ppv sales behind oscar. and shane for all his timidness and kindness the fans have not made him a popular fighter. and floyd has always given back to those less fortunate. for well over a decade he has fed the homless in vegas and in michigan. and has done a lot of outreach work that he NEVER talks about and thats one reason im a big fan of floyds. he NEVER takes credit for all the money he gives away and all the social programs he supports financially. he is a good man and a good boxer.

ALSO i totally agree with you on the margarito issue. for all those that said margs didnt have anything in his wraps, you and i both know they are totally deluded. no one gets a one year suspension for nothing. and to defend a man that had bricks in his wraps makes his defenders very crappy, lowlifes. they have no regard for human life and no decency. thet along with dirty tony can go jump in the detroit river.

i agree why else would you fight? posters kill me when they say a fighter is not out for the money. if that was the case there would not be any disputes over the purse split. floyd is being honest it would be nice if other boxers followed suit.and if mosley didnt care about money he wouldnt have used peds to beat dlh as that win gave him a lot of money and set him up for future big monet fights.
