The episode was preety good I usually don't get hyped up for any fight until it's really fight night and I'm about to watch the fight...floyd is talking noise as usual nothing new but about what floyd told shane years ago then in the face off what shane told floyd that' I want to b just like u when I come up' u know what I think floyd would have said that a long long time ago and now since he's the one getting most of the attention nowerdays maybe he's pride is big enough to reject it..I personally think there's nothing wrong wit looking up to a person when u were growing up or when u were coming up in the ranks no shame in that but since floyd is very arragant maybe he doesn't want to admit it and pretend like nothing was said!! In the Kellerman interviews, Mayweather was acting like a scared little woman that was careful of what came out of his mouth and Now he is Mister tough Guy to the Media. It kinda reminds me of a 12 year old girl trying to rally the other Girls to their side of the Fight. Of course Mayweather is looking to piss Mosley off to get him to Fight angry come May 1st, but Mosley is not the type of Fighter that gets Caught up in all that Nonsense and Trashtalking. Mosley said it perfectly when he said Mayweather was nothing but a Money Fighter and Mayweather confirmed it by claiming to be a PrizeFighter. Now if MIcheal Jordan or Joe Montana were to say they dont care about the sport but only look to Make Money at the Fans expense, we would be outraged and Blast their names in the Media till Kingdom Come. Now Mayweather tells his fans in their face that Making Money is all that Concerns Him and His Fans will Stand behind their Main Man Mayweather and say how Great he is...Sorry if i dont feel the same way about Mayweather but i grew up watching Mexican Warrriors fight not only for their own Pride but for their Country as well. Well, holy crap. I tend to write "books" as entries to the forum as well, yet, hypocritically, seldom read long posts. Yet, I have to agree with you on your points about people accepting Mayweather. You know, folks can argue that it's nothing more than a persona to entice sales. The problem is that mixed in the "persona" is a guy who wants to also be known for his accomplishments. He's a living contradiction.

But yeah, if Jordan or Montana took that sort of "money-making" stance they would have been sacrificed. Part of their mystique, their "star quality" was being humble in the sport that they excelled in, noting that the accomplishment was determined, not by a paycheck, but by performance against all adversity.

Watching this 24/7 episode, you see 2 different type of African-American males. You have the classy, soft spoken, all business, no trash talking Mosley. & then you have Mayweather. An ignorant, foul mouthed fool who is unable 2 have a decent conversation with out talking about how much money he makes or has made. Its very sad 2 see that the 2nd guy I named is the more popular 1. All Shane has ever done was fight the best & be a humble individual. Floyd on the other hand is a great, great fighter with a pathetic Welterweight resume & yap doesn't release anything worth reapting. Shane said something I've always said in the past. Floyd is very insecure that's why he feels the need 2 reminde us & himself that he is the best because deep inside he knows he's really not. I have no problems if an athlete states that they are in their sport for the money. What else are they out there for? Showing up to a job can be fun for some but for others it could mean death. The beauty of boxing is that all fighters have a style that plays into their natural ability. Pacquiao fights aggressive and so does Mosle. mayweather fights using a defensive posture which makes his style unique. A disgrace to the sport is someone who shows up out of shape, and has poor sportsmanship. Mayweather has never shown up toa fight not at his peak and he wins with a formula that works for him. If you want to talk about a disgrace then point out Mosleys admitted illegal drug use.
