last night in Edmonton with a packed house local heavyweight/promoter sheldon"Primetime"hintons card could have had a worse night.24 hours before the card his 2 co-feature bouts were cancelled when the American opponents pulled out so the card went from 7 fights to 5.then another fighter pulled out yesterday & his replacement torn his bicep 30 seconds into the fight.if that wasn't enough the Edmonton boxing commission pulled the plug on the main event because of medical paperwork being late.zack page was to fight sheldon but his bloodwork wasn't given to the commision in time.hinton was almost in tears when he had to announce that.edmontonians were very sympathetic instead of angry because sheldon is a solid community guy who helps troubled youths & owns a boxing gym where he gives them a place to hang out.too bad but he gets a mulligan from me.he worked real hard to put it together & to have so manynegative things happen in a 24 hour span is terrible.zack page is a classy guy though.I met him & they are going to fight may 29.the next card will be bigger & better.
