Ali Funeka should have just came in overweight. Oh well he tried to get down too fast. Too bad since when he fought guzman in montreal he was at 135 a week before the fight so he would not have to run in the cold weather.

But if you are using it as a diuretic (taken at higher mlg), using it only once every couple of weeks or less, you can see high weight lose over night. You can't really say, though, that he's been using it in the past to make weight because he would have been caught then too. It's one of the main things they look for in the tests. The ironocy of this issue is that where Funeka felt desperate enough to cheat to MAKE weight, Guzman came off as if making weight did not make a difference one way or another to him.
