Andre Berto is the only fighter who LOSES stock after every win......

I cant believe i acually liked this guy at one point. He truely sucks.

--He was showing off during a uneventful slap fest with Junior Welter weight Steve forbes =Embarassing

--He hugged and clinched JWW Juan Urango more in 12 rounds then Juans wife had in 15 years of marriage.

--He complains about legal punches, puts on acting debut and again clinches and holds at everychance against Carlos Quintana.

I hope Miguel Cotto or Shane Mosley fight him soon and take his 0 and belt because he doesnt deserve the WBC strap he holds. Plus most of his defenses have been against JWW's which is embarrassing for a man who started his career at 160.

i agree with wat u say but i believe last night he was fighting on emotions and not to a game plan. i think hes still a good fighter but hes also a product of the hbo hype train at the same time

It's a joke that he's the WBC champion. I think Mike Jones should fight him. I'd be tempted to pick Jones in that fight.

I don't know I thought last night that Berto looked more sloppy than usual. I think the layoff effected him and the events effected him as well. I mean think about it he was in Haiti for all of january if i'm not mistaken thats not a lot of time to recover mentally and re-up for a training camp. Plus Quintana isn't exactly an easy fighter to look good against just ask Paul williams. He does clinch a lot tho. Overall I wouldn't take much from last nights fight.

I noticed a lot of people on here hate on Berto... not sure what thats about lol considering all that has happened and that Quintana is just outside of top tier talent a KO win with an injured bicep is a pretty good result to me lol.
