The two results are he wins convincingly in the first two rounds, or he struggles a bit or dare I say, loses.

Will the "nut-huggers" still think that Iron Mike was the best ever if he loses?

Will the haters still think Tyson sucks even if he KOs McBride within a minute or so?

    You know who you are.

....The line will be drawn hard and fast. The difference between the haters and the lovers of "Aluminum Mike" is that Tyson's haters tend to be more reasonable and stable people than the Tyson nutjobs. It takes a "special" kind of individual to still think Tyson can be the best in the division again. Ask a bunch of people with neither hate nor love for Tyson and they will tend to agree with the haters and steer clear away from the "special" Tyson fans and their views. IMO he could get killed in the ring and his fans will still believe that he will come back from the dead, knock out Vitali, become a caring and loving individual, and live happily ever after.

there is no dispute to that, but the question is can Tyson reach it? I dont think so.
If he can get inside he can reach it, look at salvareese(dont kno how to spell it) that guy was 6'6, Teh 1st punch Tyson threw went over the guys head but still knocked him down, then when he was on the inside he was able to conenct to the jaw. McBride will be no different.

Valid point but Mcbride stands straight up and doesnt us a normal stance at times add that into the factor of him being able to lean and weigh down Tyson and a chance of him winning is a good one.

Noone should ever underestimate any of Tyson's opponents, as stated earlier. People get up for Tyson, look at Buster Douglas he was a fighter who never beat anyone of name before and after the Tyson fight and look at Danny Williams.

Mcbride will bring his A game but we all know it isnt good, well neither is Tyson. If Tyson doesnt get this guy out early and then there will be trouble.

Even if Tyson can't get too the head his body shots are pretty fierce.

somehow tyson is still a big draw inside boxing and with general public. the last fight of his i seen was that satisfieing beatdown he got from lewis.

if tyson shows up in shape and with his head screwed on atleast halfway he should have fun. i don't think he will.

the heavyweight division is so weak(that son of a...ruiz is back).i can see ones in power seeing dollar signs if tyson plays good against mcnuggets(thats kool).powerboys lining tyson up against made for tyson style weaker beltholders isnt that far out.

Not when Mcbride is holding and smothering you not letting you get anything off, thats how you beat a big puncher. Ruiz does it all of the time as well did Hatton against Tszyu. Danny Williams also did it against Tyson and it worked.

All Mcbride has to do is HOLD ON literally.

Good point! Although the general public isn't the concern or the main ticket money for fights, it does say a lot when people that don't watch or support boxing often will go once in a while when Iron Mike is fighting. Why, because he is a legend on and off the ring whether positive or negative.

                    Rocko out...

Mike Tyson losing to McBride would be the biggest disgrace to befall an ex champion since Leon Spinks was knocked out by John Carlo in his pro debut.

If Tyson struggles even a little with the completely inept McBride, he is worse off than Holyfield. If I had stayed with boxing and had been training these last three years, I would like my chances against McBride.
