A point should have been deducted immediately. It was completely wrong, not a big naughty.

Someone brought up Gatti and Hatton. That'd be a hell of a fight.

      Naughty? How about blatantly dangerous!
No, its not about KT...it's about following the rules that are there for a good health reason. It's about the other guy having half a chance when walking into the other guys backyard, and having the ref, the crowd and everybody else totally against him. Tszyu was made the underdog the min. he entered MEN. Didnt you think that Hatton looking at the ref, and then being broken up immediately after, just a bit odd??

There are (probably more like "were") plenty of fans here that liked Hatton, while none of them like KT over there. and to talk about fair judging?!?! You've gotta be kidding me! there wasnt even fair reffing, so it's a no brainer how the judging would have went had KT continued.
Tracy, the judges were international judges with (ISTR) not a single UK judge in attendance. Whatever you think of the refereeing, I don't see how that reflects on the scorecards.

As for the refereeing, then both fighters were extremely dirty in that one, it was that sort of bout. If the ref was really against Tsyzu, instead of verbally telling him to keep the punches up he would have been taking points off. For bias refereeing look at how Danny Williams was treated against Mike Tyson.

I AGREE with you about them booing Zoo's anthem, terrible taste and they let themselves down there. But are you saying we're all animals and that's NEVER happened in the US? Eastman even had people staring and jeering at him when he was praying in his corner before fighting Bernard Slopkins.

you might want to watch that again. He did it once (unintentional?) but REPEATEDLY? No.

Too right... in fact, if he doesn't move up to heavyweight and take on Klitschko I'll mark him down as a *****.

If you really want, I can chart the exact times that Zoo did exactly the same thing to get out of clinches he didn't wish to be in. Looking at the ref to indicate action is warranted is standard procedure... it's hardly a Masonic gesture, is it?

The ref even called them both TOGETHER on a number of occasions.

He hit him behind the head all night..to the point that KT started doing it too. I dont have to watch it again to know that..besides, I dont have the stomach to watch it again.

In what way would he have no choice but to fight dirty?

We'll just have to agree to disagree. Hatton fought dirty as hell, and thats why he won. That is just the way I see it and will always remember it.
