I'm a Merchant fan, but yes he should retire. He is struggling to put sentences together.
If HBO ever go back to having a secondary panel of experts for big fights he would be ok there.

He should be doing it until he can no longer speak. His harsh critisism and low-blow jokes are the essence of old school boxing mentality.
I'll take Larry making fun of guys' ring entrance music over Kellermans long-winded references to obscure 80's boxing matches any ****ing day.
