One more thing, he doesn't get excited enough even in a great great fight, do to his age... his voice always stays about at the same level.

Larry merchant was great in his time but he loses his train of thought too often. But he should be able to leave on his own terms

i thought berto was stuttering even worst.

i like larry... i mean, yeah i do know he's getting old and perhaps it's time but he's like a trademark of hbo fights. i expect him to be there and he's just become part of the whole thing. i'd feel like something's missing if i don't hear the random and creatively funny commentary he does. also how he ponders looking at the floor, looks at the camera for half a second second and then looks back down. so no i'd like to see him until his eyebrows cover up his entire eye... for now they're only covering half of it.

I think he is more entertaining and a bit more of a character then Max Kellerman. Max really gets on my nerves for some reason.
