yer UFC is in a downfall have you seen the PPV numbers of late? they are pretty bad i heard. and they lie about there PPV buys aswell- apperently but thats just what i have seen on the tube.

The main event was really bad, the fight before it was a robbery. Renzo Gracie hasn't fought anyone in like 3 years and he fought and it was really bad too.

It was funny because Dana White thought it was a wonderful idea to bring UFC to Abu Dhabi, as they are hungry for fighting sports over there, but the audience ended up booing the main event and Dana ended up running to the manager of the favorite Anderson Silva wondering why his fighter stopped fighting from halfway 3rd and on...MMA got a bad reputation there now. Boxing would do better there, imagine a mega fight, Manny-Mosley (yeah, I strongly suspect that Mosley will be too much for Floyd)

you make it seem like if UFC doesn't have exciting fights ALL THE TIME, they fail. but its ok to have hopkins-jones 2 or holyfield-botha, etc.

get over this MMA v. boxing bs. ya'll are acting like bishes. enjoy both or STFU.

Both are exciting, and if you are a fan of one, how can you not be a fan of the other?

these die hard "boxing only" fans act like boxing is the only specialized art of fighting and that it's superior to all. hate to break it to ya, boxers have been KTFO by "lesser" art forms.

and these MMA only fans, i think they only like MMA and not boxing because they wanna see brutal KOs. more casual fight fans if anything.

To be fair though, Hopkins vs Jones was action packed compared to Silva vs Maia and Silva is the UFC's proclaimed P4P fighter.

This fight literally made me angry and I don't have any emotional investment. I hope Silva gets struck down by lightning.

The funniest part was the announcers drooling over Andersons lame dance moves and showboating in the first two rounds (they even compared him to Ali), by the third round even they stopped trying to shine this turd of a fight.
