Jesus christ how many PPVs do they freaking have? It seems like every other week they want people shelling out 50 bucks or whatever. I don't watch UFC and don't care for it so I support it's downfall. Either way why even care about it, especially when our sport is churning out what seems like great fights every weekend now. If only we could make a few more of the major fights, end some politics, and get back our heavyweight division.

i wish casual fans would turn in just to watch boxing instead of just turning in to see a couple of guys.
It might be at this point, but only because they made it like that.

Its why they can stack cards with people who would basically be shills if this were boxing. No one cares enough about the fighters outside of your Lesnar's and St. Pierre's

that's how boxing should do it too.

come see this great boxing card.

that's the difference between the ufc and boxing right now.

people come to watch the all the fights.

in boxing people only come to see the main event.

how the hell is a sport gonna replace a totally different sport?

yeah and hockey will replace baseball.

or horse racing will replace golf.

I don't see necessarily anything wrong with that.

There's a lot more intimacy in boxing with knowing who fighters are since its very nationalistic and there's other events such as the olympics and golden gloves.

People actually get a thrill out of seeing a fighter grow up.

I guess if you don't mind nameless pawns going at it then you wouldn't mind how MMA run things(Not that there's anything necessarily wrong with that, if it floats your boat).

Pro MMA is only like 20 years old give or take, but wait until kids actually start training it, and the skill level increases(Thus more even keeled matchups and less knockouts).

If MMA can handle that without viewers being alienated then I will acknowledge that its here to stay.

                You didn't watch the PPV.

                Therefore, you're irrelevant

I've been watching MMA from forever now and it's just getting annoying now, it's like every other week a next ppv show and . . .

Well after awhile that's what you get.

mma has over saturated itself. it's garbage. boxing is a true sport and an art. that's why boxing is in the olympics. mma will never be, it's just a joke like WWE that's why they keep taking WWE fighters on, and that's why they keep taking on old retired fat boxers because MMA fighters have no star power of their own, they need to take burned out washed up stars from other sports like Jose Conseco and James Toney

Jose Caseco is ShoBox's idea. Not Strikeforce's.

Walker and Lashley was ShoBox's idea too
