At the end of the day, it's just a shame we didn't get to see it.

Shame Pavlik didnt want to prove how he can beat AA then, Again Pavlik is the top Middleweight in boxing so yes he gets highlighted and critise more than anyone else especially when he could have fought AA but for some reason Arum didnt want the fight.

And by the way i pick Pavlik to beat AA 9 out of 10 times but it doesnt cover the fact that Pavlik or Arum duck AA.

It was Pavlik who did the real work on Miranda and Taylor.

Paul Williams is blatantly ducking Pavlik and his demands for a 50/50 prove this.
pavlik crushes the one dimensional, slow AA. pwill got beat by martinez, round for round martinez won and knocked down pwill. pavlik crushes pwill as well, and out points martinez.

I think Pavlik has fought good competition the last three years. Miranda, Taylor twice, Hopkins, now Martinez. That's 5 tough fights in 3 years. And he would have had more tough fights but he had a staph infection. Williams backs out of a 60-40 for the middle weight championship. Williams does not want any part of Pavlik if he turns down that fight. His popularity would sky rocket if he was the middle weight champ. But Williams is scared of being kTFO by a guy who lost to Hopkins.

dude needs to stop complaining and just move foreward with his career.

Pavlik had great competition prior to beating Taylor but he isnt in a position to be critising people like Arthur abraham, abraham sought a fight with Pavlik while excuses was all we got, Another thing is Pavlik was the one who pulled out of a Williams fight twice....after the fight had been made.

Pavlik shouldn't be talking. He is the one stuck in one of the weakest divisions in boxing, and yet didn't grow a pair and join the super six.

People are critising Pavlik since the hopkins loss and the staph infection. I would not take that sht either. You can look at past middle weights or many other divisions. But there is not a huge list of boxers who have fought better people in the last three years. And Pavlik did not heal fast enough to fight Pwill. And its good he did pull out because he was not in good shape when he fought Espino. What a lot of people don't realize for some reason, is when you have been sick for a long time. You may want to take a tune up fight, so you can be ready to fight someone good for say April.Pwill is no tune up fight, and it seems Pwill wants no part of a healthy Pavlik. So he is fighting Sergio.

If Pavlik can get by martinez and continue to make weight, there's a great crop of young MWs coming up,

                      Danny Jacobs
                      Gennady Golovkin
                      Matt Korobov
                      Darrin Barker
                      Hassan N'Jikam
                      Dmitry Pirog
                      Andy Lee
                      etc

but he has looked crap every time he's gone up above MW.
