I don't understand why people still think Pavlik's ducking fighters on purpose. Some forget to realize boxing is also a business and the fights Pavlik wants he won't always get. Williams and Arthur Abraham are just two names. AA almost fought exclusively in Europe, and Williams wasn't a very big name at the time. Although both are great fighters and have a good chance against Kelly, if the money ain't right, it shouldn't happen. They should have just let Williams and AA build their names up like they are doing now so when the fight comes, it'll be bigger. Just my opinion, I do have Kelly in my sig so go ahead and take what I say with a grain of salt.

And I hear so many people talk about how he ducked Williams, but what happened before the Hopkins fight (no seriously, what happened? I have no clue why they didn't fight). Oh, and what happened after the Espino fight? Williams was given the same offer as before, but he demanded more money. I suppose he had a good run in 2009, but what has he done at Middleweight to deserve a bigger share? And this is coming from a Williams fan.
HBO turned it down in late 2008 because Williams was a WW and they didn't see it as a legitimate MW world title fight.

        You already know.

He got ****ed in the ass twice by Team Pavlik. They cost him time , money and they almost lost a fight messing around with him.

Paul wanted 50-50 and upfront money just incase Pavlik ran again.

Pavlik did more in one year than what Abraham and Sturm have done in their entire careers. It was Abraham who and his promoters who turned down the offer to unify the titles against Pavlik. It was Paul Williams who turned down the offer to fight Pavlik before anyone cared about Williams.

It was Pavlik who did the real work on Miranda and Taylor.

Paul Williams is blatantly ducking Pavlik and his demands for a 50/50 prove this.

Pavlik is right about Martinez : he was getting hit a lot by Paul, who is not a puncher, and he just can't fight that kind of fight against Kelly, cause his lights will go out. People underestimate Kelly a lot...

Kelly might have more power than Williams, but Williams is faster and better skilled. It will be a tough fight for Kelly but i think Kelly is to big for Martinez.
Kelly will have more problems to hit Martinez well but at the end i think he will wear him down.
